17 of us spent a combined total of 75 years earning 3 Associates, 14 Bachelors, 4 Masters and 2 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 49 U.S. States or Territories and has also visited 23 foreign countries.
1 of us has a birthday this month, and 3 of us have birthdays in June.
Currently, 7 of us are retired.

Susan Hellams was working on her residency in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. There she was known for her Keen intellect, sense of humor and compassion. She was married to Marcel Slag and lived at 514 West 31st Street in Richmond.
On Oct 3, 1987, Hellams was sleeping in her home when she was randomly attacked, brutalized and murdered by a suspect later determined to be Timothy Spencer. She was the second of four victims of the so-called "Southside Strangler." The suspect was ultimately identified and convicted through one of the first uses of DNA evidence.
The Medical College of Virginia set up a memorial fund in her honor. "To know her was to love her" |
