Combined, we have 30 children and 2 grandchildren.
2 of us served in the U.S. Armed Forces for a combined total of 13 years.
17 of us spent a combined total of 75 years earning 3 Associates, 14 Bachelors, 4 Masters and 2 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 49 U.S. States or Territories and has also visited 23 foreign countries.
1 of us has a birthday this month, and 3 of us have birthdays in June.
Currently, 7 of us are retired.

KERRY A. PERKINS.PERKINS, Kerry A., 58, passed away peacefully in Glen Allen, Va., on May 30, 2013. She was the beloved mother of Chandler Elaine Thomas and Corey James Thomas, who were the lights of her life. She is survived also by her brother, Pat Perkins; and sisters, Petie Curtis and Pam Morris. She was predeceased by her brother, Randy Perkins; and her parents, Jean Gibson Nagle and Hubert Perkins. After graduating from Douglas Freeman High School in 1973, she studied at George Mason University. After that, she ventured out to Santa Clara University in California where she earned a degree in psychology. Also a licensed practical nurse, LPN, she worked in hospitals and in private care in Richmond and California, where she lived for 25 years. In addition, Kerry worked in the restaurant industry and enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh. There will be a memorial service on Monday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4210 Penick Rd., Richmond, Va. 23228, followed by a gathering for friends and family at Kerry's sister's house at 2910 Cottrell Rd., Richmond, Va. 23233. .
